Starting Water Estimate
All water amounts on this page are starting estimates, not tested ratios. Add liquid gradually, stir or rest, and adjust to the texture you want.
- Rehydration alone is not enough: the eggs must be cooked before eating. Freeze drying does not make raw eggs safe, so always finish them hot and fully cooked.
Serving
One serving per 25 g dry eggs, about a small breakfast plate.
Storage
Store the dried eggs sealed, cool and dark, and keep them free of moisture. Once rehydrated they are perishable eggs again: cook and serve immediately.
Storage depends on your packaging, dryness and conditions. See the Storage Center and the packaging guides for honest shelf-life guidance; no shelf-life claim is made on this page.
Notes
Cooking requirement: never eat rehydrated freeze-dried egg without cooking it. See the food-safety guidance for eggs and dairy.
Food safety: follow the food-safety guidance for handling and storing this food before and after rehydration.
Egg safety: freeze drying does not make raw eggs safe to eat without cooking. Rehydrated egg must be cooked thoroughly before eating. See the eggs and dairy food-safety guide.
