Beginners Start Here
Start With the Simple Checks
Before you dig into any single problem, run through this short list. Most problems live here, and every one of these checks is safe to do.
- Door: closed and latched firmly.
- Gasket: clean, dry, seated evenly with no folds or debris. Read the guide
- Valves: in the correct position for your machine, per the manual.
- Hose: connected, clamped, with no cracks, kinks or blockages.
- Pump: switched on, oil at the right level, oil clear. Read the guide
- Food thickness: pieces even and not too thick. Read the guide
- Tray loading: even and not overloaded. Read the guide
- Final dry time: enough time for the batch, including the final dry phase. Read the guide
One reassurance: most beginner problems are simple checks, not equipment failure. Work from the top of this list and you will usually find the cause before you ever reach the pump.
