Three rule layers to check
Before any event or direct sale, confirm all three:
- Organizer rules: The event organizer's own rules: applications, fees, setup, refrigeration or display requirements, insurance, and what may be sold at all.
- Municipal rules: The municipality's rules for the location: permits, stall licenses, zoning, health or fire requirements, and waste handling.
- Food-authority rules: The food rules that apply to your product regardless of venue: sanitary operation, registration, labeling, and product handling. The food authority is MINSA for human food and MIDA for animal food.
