Preparation
- Combine freeze-dried fruit and any optional yogurt powder in a sealed jar or pouch.

- At serving time, blend the dry mix with cold liquid until smooth.
- Let the blended mix rest a minute so the powder fully hydrates, then adjust liquid.
Rehydration
Starting Water Estimate
All water amounts on this page are starting estimates, not tested ratios. Add liquid gradually, stir or rest, and adjust to the texture you want.
- Blending rehydrates the fruit: expect a slightly thicker result than fresh-fruit smoothies because dried fruit absorbs liquid as it rehydrates.
- Add liquid in stages rather than all at once, and blend between additions.
Serving
One prepared pouch makes one smoothie, about 250 to 350 mL.
Storage
The dry mix stores like any freeze-dried food: sealed, cool, dark and dry. Once liquid is added it becomes a perishable smoothie and should be enjoyed promptly.
Storage depends on your packaging, dryness and conditions. See the Storage Center and the packaging guides for honest shelf-life guidance; no shelf-life claim is made on this page.
Notes
This is a ready-to-mix product idea as much as a recipe: the same jar logic scales to retail pouches for the commercial smoothie-mix concept.
