Freeze-Dried Powders
Powder is where freeze-drying becomes an ingredient business: fruit, vegetable, herb, meat, pet food and meal powders each follow the same template, from best starting material to grinding, sifting, storage, uses and limitations, with Lab Results honestly empty until real tests exist.
Fruit Powder
Intense flavor for smoothies, baking, sauces and drinks. Sugar and fat vary by fruit, so each fruit behaves differently.
Open the powder pageVegetable Powder
Tomato, carrot, beet, spinach, onion and pepper powders for sauces, soups and seasoning blends.
Open the powder pageHerb Powder
Delicate, intense herb powders that demand humidity protection from jar to use.
Open the powder pageMeat Powder
Ground cooked meat for soups, gravy, baby-food-style dishes and flavor-boosting.
Open the powder pagePet Food Powder
Powdered meat or poultry as a supplemental flavor enhancer; never presented as complete or balanced.
Open the powder pageMeal Powder
Whole meals ground to powder for instant soups, gravies and rehydrated bowls.
Open the powder pageThe Powder Page Template
Every powder page follows the same structure so the sections are predictable: Best Starting Material, Preparation, Grinding, Sifting, Storage, Uses, Limitations, Related Food Guides and Lab Results. Same template, honest food-specific differences inside.
Foundation
Powder Blend Builder (Future)
The future Powder Blend Builder will let you select a base powder, add flavor or color powders, and decide the blend's purpose, then propose a starting recipe structure. This is a foundation page: the structure is defined here, but no blending ratios are computed yet and none are invented. Because powders are not interchangeable and absorptions differ, the future tool will always return starting quantities with a test-and-adjust instruction, never a claimed ratio.
Future inputs
Base powder, flavor or color powder, target use (sauce, drink, bake, rub, pet topping) and approximate batch size.
Future outputs
A starting blend structure with grams per component, a mixing order and a test note; explicitly not a validated formula.
Boundaries
No supplement or medical implications: blends are culinary applications of freeze-dried food powders only.
Powder Calculators
Powders change your math: the same raw food weighs far less dry, packages in small quantities, and costs per gram. These tools apply:
